Tasting Note:

This gin is very well-made. The intensity of the spirit is strong, and this makes it appealing. The orange peel and the fruit cake make it very characteristic and in combination with the rose petal, pepper and earthiness a taste on its own. It is not too typical in its style because of it’s sharpness, this makes it a great drink for mixing with tonic or cocktails. 

When mixed with tonic the hardness of the spiriti goes away and the balance is coming. The aromas of earth, candied fruit and orange peel are getting stronger and more aromatic. There is a long and very appealing sweet aftertaste. Bitterness of the tonic is giving a podium to the the flavour characteristics.  - Mats van de Steenoven -
